Job Opportunity
A financially strong, fast-growing, independent investment consulting firm with a collegial and entrepreneurial culture is seeking an analyst. The analyst will be relied upon to assist the team in all aspects of AGW Capital Advisors developing and serving the firm’s clients.

General Responsibilities

  • Analyze different areas of the global capital markets and review commentary and investment strategy from various sources.
  • Develop investment policy statements, including developing investment goals, objectives and constraints.
  • Design asset allocation and portfolio structures.
  • Conduct investment manager due diligence, searches, reviews and monitoring.
  • Gather and clarify data for portfolio accounting and performance measurement.
  • Create customized educational information and presentations.
  • Attend and participate in investment committee meetings.
  • Prepare materials for client and new business presentations.
  • Respond to requests-for-proposals (RFPs).
  • Conduct analysis on current and prospective clients.
  • Utilize various software and online tools to complete tasks and gather information for clients and colleagues.
  • Lean in and care about clients and colleagues such that anticipating and seeking solutions for their needs and concerns is second nature.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two or more years of working experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and/or MBA degree preferred (or strong interest in pursuing one or more).
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Works well independently and in a collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and manage projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective time-management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Problem solver with proficiency in gathering and analyzing data, and preparing reports.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in the capital markets and investment industry.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and database management software.
  • Series 65 license preferred (required within 12 months).
